The Whiskers and Tails Club recently visited the Wild Animal Safari in Pine Mountain, Georgia, just outside Columbus. During their trip, the students had the opportunity to explore a 500-acre park filled with a wide variety of animals from around the world. The group participated in the drive-through safari, where they saw animals like giraffes, zebras, and camels up close. They also explored the walkable zoo area, where they observed Bengal tigers, African lions, and other exotic species. The visit provided an exciting, hands-on learning experience about wildlife and conservation. It was a fun and educational day that the students will remember!

Seminole County High School's Agriculture Education program collaborated with American Peanut Ingredients, LLC (API) to provide students with OSHA Forklift Certification. The classroom training was conducted at API under the guidance of instructor Sesame Robinson. After the theoretical portion, Levi Dunn oversaw the pre-trip inspections and hands-on driving practice. Students faced various obstacle courses that tested their driving skills and helped refine their abilities. These ten students can now proudly include forklift operation on their resumes, showcasing the diverse skills they have acquired at Seminole County High School.
