Green Machine Marching Band
The Green Machine Marching Band is a group of hard working students that work together under all types of circumstances to produce the best show under the Friday Night Lights. However, we’ve had many obstacles to overcome this year. Like every other aspect of our lives, COVID-19 has affected the band's practices. This summer, we were not able to have band camp because of the country’s lockdown. Nothing lasts forever and nothing can keep us down! We worked and waited until we could finally perform and that happened last week at our Turner County game. Many people were excited to see us on the field to perform for the fans and to support the football team during the game. With the help of the band, the crowd kept the spirit up and pushed the team to win. The Green Machine Marching Band in a unit of people who always strive to include every member in each performance. We believe in trying to accomplish the impossible, that’s why our show features cool formations and majorettes twirling fire. We have many seniors in the band, and we (the seniors) are trying to make as many memories as we can. We will miss the band when we all move off next year, but we will come back to watch how much the band has accomplished while we are away.
