Miss Jodi Harper and Miss Jalee’ Conley would like to give a “SHOUTOUT” to Noel Stringer, Saylor Cunningham, and Charlie Blackburn for completing 25 i-Ready Math lessons. Also, Carter Forshee for completing 50 i-Ready Math lessons. Great job!
At SCES, students are rewarded for their independent reading every 9-week period. Each student has the opportunity to earn up to 4 Independent Reading goals during this time. To achieve each goal, students must complete a choice board. The rewards for completing choice boards are as follows: - 1 choice board = recess - 2 choice boards = extra reading time - 3 choice boards = ice cream coupon - 4 choice boards = STEM toy time
*Students who complete four choice boards also get an invitation to the end-of-year Reading Party. Each choice board consists of 10 tasks that must be completed using 10 different books that the student reads.
