"Mrs. Croom and her Reading Buddies had a delightful visit with the Pre-K 3 students on December 4! Mrs. Croom read How to Catch an Elf, and the fifth-grade Reading Buddies jumped right in to help their little friends color an elf craft. They also led a fun finger play of “10 Little Elves Jumping in the Sleigh,” which had everyone giggling and moving along.

To top it all off, students enjoyed a special treat of homemade “Elf Bait”—the perfect festive snack to end their magical visit!"

‼️ Reminder ‼️ The SCES Middle of the Year local testing window will be open from December 1st through December 15th. Your student will take an iReady diagnostic assessment in reading and math to help us gauge their progress from the beginning of the school year and guide our plan for their instruction in the 2nd semester. Please have your student at school and on time each day if possible and prepared with a good night's sleep and breakfast.
