Dear Seminole County School Community,
We are writing to alert you to an ongoing disruption affecting certain District technology systems. On Monday, October 19, 2026, Seminole County Schools identified unusual activity affecting portions of its information technology environment. As a precaution, the District took certain systems offline. We have brought in outside cybersecurity specialists to assist with the response, investigation, and restoration process.
Our team is working closely with these specialists to restore our systems as quickly and safely as
possible. Our investigation is ongoing, and right now we do not know whether any information was affected.
